Following the successful run of the Washapap Challenge by the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS) and Juakali Workforce we received entries from young people who are in school and those working in the informal sector. They made different versions of blowers, some favouring manual blowers that required a person to blow into it and some using an electrical fan to ease the process. The winner of ‘ Washa Jiko Shinda Chapaa’ will be announced by representatives of ACTS. We thank all the young people for participating.
